Hello, name is Laurel I. Brooke—author, storyteller, and creator of mythic spaces for real-world seekers. I bring together story, ritual, and playful magic to help people explore their inner worlds and live a more enchanted, sovereign life.

From 2021–2023, I went through four near-death initiations—one in each season, one for each direction of the Medicine Wheel I had honored for years as a druidess. I didn’t realize it then, but those seasons of initiation were preparing me for the next chapter of my life.

The very day after the final initiation—though I didn’t yet understand the synchronicity—I walked into the snowy Sierra woods, gave an offering, and called for the story that wanted to be told through me, one that was a true match for my voice. I had stepped away from writing for several years, unable to reconnect with my old projects or find fresh inspiration. But the day I made that call, something shifted. Magic landed, unmistakably, in the physical world—and the story that would become my debut novel began to take shape.

Now, I help others return to their own inspiration—back to the quiet, powerful center of their mythic selves. Through story, ritual, and playful magic, I support people in reclaiming the narrative of their lives and reconnecting with the deeper story that has been calling their name all along.

And if you’re ready, dear traveler, the path now branches…

“Experiencing any moment with Laurel somehow seems to transport you to another time. Whenever I learn about a new mystical practice or ancient custom, particularly those related to the divine feminine or the principle of women’s sovereignty, I can almost guarantee that she will have knowledge of the topic and a well-informed opinion. As a publisher and lover of all things mystical and connected to the divine feminine, I cannot think of anyone more naturally positioned to write a “shero’s” journey retelling of an Arthurian legend.”
